Redmi Note 5 Review-First impression, price, specification

Today’s generation is really addicted to smartphones. Their expectations are going higher and higher day by day. At this point, one of the best smartphone company Xiaomi has launched their beasts Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. Redmi note 4 held a huge success, and that is the reason why their fanbase has a lot of expectations for this flagship.

Redmi note 4 had excellent build quality, a powerful processor, and a decent camera. If we talk a budget smartphone, Redmi Note 4 is still the best choice for smartphone buyers. These are the few reasons why many geeks expected a lot from the next Xiaomi’s budget series flagship. So, today in this article we are going to talk about Redmi Note 5 and what is our opinion on this smartphone.

First Impression

So, let’s start with the smartphone’s design, the smartphone comes with a 5.99 inches 18:9 ratio display with 2.5D corning gorilla glass protection. The smartphone is made of the metal body, but it has plastic caps on the top and the bottom for antennas. Even after the metal body display, the smartphone is weighted just 180 grams.

The 18:9 ratio makes the display narrow and tall. Xiaomi has positioned the volume rockers and the power button on the right side of the device which is easy to access even if you use it with one hand. Overall, the smartphone gives a premium feel on hands.

I don’t think that Xiaomi will ever disappoint you in the term of pricing. Xiaomi has already launched so many budget smartphones in India, so the price is considerable good. They have set it between 9999/- to 13999/- INR and this is the range of every mid-budget smartphones buyer.

The upcoming Xiaomi’s flagship boats with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 which comes with eight cores cortex-A53 clocked at 2.0 GHz. And it is combined with Adreno 506 GPU for enhancing your gaming experiences. The smartphone comes with a 4000 mAh super powerful non-removable battery which claims to last longs up to 9 hours of rushed gaming.

The new flagship smartphone comes in two variants, a 3GB/32GB and one 4GB/64 one. The smartphone supports dual hybrid sim which accepts two nano sims or one nano sim with a microSD card. The external storage can be expandable up to 128 GB.

The smartphone is packed with a 12 MegaPixels rear camera and 5 Megapixels front-facing camera with a LED selfie light. Here are some camera sample images shared by Xiaomi on their official site.

The Redmi note 5 runs on android 7.1.2 nougat with MIUI 9 on top. The Settings menus are rearranged, and we found ourselves using the search function quite often. MIUI supports for Dual Apps and Second Space which help you keep your private data safe. You also get a fair number of preinstalled apps including several Google and Microsoft ones, and Xiaomi’s own Mi Community, Mi Store, Mi Remote, Mi File manager, and Mi Video. My Opinion

As all of us are eagerly waiting for the upcoming flagship of Xiaomi’s forthcoming successor smartphone, Xiaomi has finally launched it. The smartphone is now available only on sale, and the first sale was held on 22nd February. You can buy this smartphone directly from Xiomi’s official website.

If you ask me for giving my opinion on this device, I don’t think that this much has so many things to talk about. I expected a Snapdragon 636 from the Note 5, but it has SD 625. Rest of the stuff is excellent as it’s 18:9 ratio and a front facing camera with LED flash. So, if you are searching for a budget smartphone, Redmi Note 5 is surely going to be a good choice for you.
